Eligibility Criteria of the CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme

The following requirements must be met to be an applicant,

🏠 Must be a Punjabi.
⚡ Households with consumption of more than 200 units (per month) are eligible.
🆔 CNIC / ID Card is a must.
🧾 Reference number from the electricity bill.
💰 Families earning less than PKR 50,000 per month are given more priority.
🚫 Government employees cannot apply for the CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme.
✅ To be an applicant, no dues should be owed to the electricity distribution companies.

Who is Ineligible for the CM Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme?

🚫 Households with more than 2 meters cannot apply.
⚡ Households/individuals involved in electricity theft are ineligible.
📉 Households that have not paid their electricity bills for 3 months are not eligible.
🔧 Households with faulty meters are not given priority.

The Punjab government has decided to provide solar panels based on the consumption of electricity per month. Households with a consumption of up to 100 units will be given a 550-watt solar system, while households consuming up to 200 units of electricity will be provided with a 1100-watt solar system.
